Unfortunately, this KOA is going to have take my general displeasure with KOAs and their ongoing effort to make money. We are in a pull-through site that should not even be a site. We have about 4 inches of clearance between our slide and our neighbors slide. There is not a shade tree to be had; but we have an awesome view of the interstate!!! The office staff was pleasant, but I would never ever stay here again primarily because of this site. Of course the office area greets you with the ubquitous KOA store to relieve you of more of your money. Or I could have paid $2 more to have some special hook up, didn't listen to hear if it was television or internet.

We liked this park because it is adults only, it is a lovely setting, and it is not large. Friendly helpful owners. Well-kept and attractive park in a picturesque setting across the road from an Amish farm. We were backed up (read bumper touching sidehill of road)to a local road with little auto traffic but enjoyed the clip clop of the horses pulling the carriages. Five minute walk into Intercourse. We were parked on the upper level and it is definitely most desirable. The lower level was shoulder to shoulder big rigs crammed in like cord wood. The sites are tight, but doable, and there always seemed to be a fellow camper out to help another get backed in.

We loved loved loved this little campground out in the country. Friendly helpful owner; covered picnic table at every site; cute and well-maintained grounds and quiet and picturesque. I hesitate to sing the praises, because I don't want it to become too well-known. And the crowning touch is that the owner has a 'lobsta' pound on the premises and will deliver lobstas to your door at your specified time - live or cooked. He arrived with a cooked lobsta for each of us on a colorful platter accompanied with crackers. The best lobsta we had on the entire trip and the total cost was $22. We would make this a destination for a week's get-away!!!

This is just the second season for the owners, but there is lots of potential, and they are working hard. Currently putting in 50 amp service. The owners were friendly and helpful. The park is a lovely wooded setting and quiet. Since there is just a swimming pool and playground equipment, it is not a frantic playland type of park. There are a number of sites that appear to be extended stay, but no one was in most of them, so must just be a vacation location. It is very easy access off the interstate being just one mile up the road and a perfect park for an overnight. We would stay here again and would like to see the improvements over the next few years. Give it a try!! When we looked for this on our mapping program it came up as Homestead RV.

Older park with very narrow sites, but very well maintained. Immaculate showers and restrooms. Management a bit slow to address a problem with a fellow resident. Pet friendly with a small designated "pee patch". We were given a reduced rate because we were there for treatment at Loma Linda Medical Center. If we were to ever find ourselves in the area again, we would return to this park. It is the best the area has to offer.

Nice setting and walking distance to the beach. Dog friendly. Shuttle available to get into downtown Cannon Beach. We have stayed here on two occasions and will return again.

We have spent 3 winter seasons here but will probably not return. This park is owned by Encore, and they choose to call it a resort; which it is not even though there is a $3/day resort fee for anything less than a one-month stay. I don't know what that fee covers!! I like the rural setting of the park and the outside clotheslines. The residents are friendly, and it is a dog-friendly park, although sometimes so dog friendly that no one pays attention to non-stop barking. The park is neat and clean, but there is nothing beyond the ordinary. We experience extreme electrical power fluctuations very frequently, and we are subjected to sewer odors as frequently. We have been bumping through the same potholes in the road for all three seasons we have been here. A shovelful of asphalt thrown into the potholes is as much as is done. It is obvious that only the bare minimum needs are met by Encore, and there is no investment being made in the infrastructure. The manager is an unpredictable personality who has a need to maintain control. Therefore her workcamping staff are less than effective because they have not been given adequate training and "only know half the story". We as guests, even return guests, don't feel our patronage is appreciated. We will take a look next winter to see if there have been any improvements.
